since x-axis is extended both in positive as well as negative direction so if we want two points on a line which are equal distance from a point on the same line which is origin then the point should be on the two different sides of that. For example if we have to find two points that are equal distance from origin that is a single point So the points should be on different sides of a region therefore the one point can be -1 and other is 1
similarly your answer can be - 2 and 2
it can also be - 3 and 3
and so on you can consider any point you want and if you will find distance between them it will come out to be same you can apply distance formula for the proof
