Nice question!!

Thanks For asking!!

Given:-

Mass of earth:-

6 \times  {10}^{24} kg

Radius of earth:-

6.4 \times  {10}^{6} m

Since, the weight of object is 10 N

By using weight formula,

w = m \times g

10 = m \times 10m {s}^{ - 1}

m = 1kg

Now the mass of object is 1 kg.

Since ,object is shifted to a distance of

1.28 \times  {10}^{7} m

Now,by using gravity formula ,

g =  \frac{gm}{{r}^{2} }

putting the values in equation,

g = 6.67 \times  {10}^{ - 11}  \times 6 \times  {10}^{24}  \div ( {6.4 \times  {10}^{6} })^{2}

by further calculation we get,

g = 2.5m {s}^{2}

Now Weight of object is

W=M×g

W=1 × 2.5

W= 2.5 N ans.....
