If , x = root over 2 + 1
then , find the value of x^2 + 1 / x^2

ᴀɴᴅ , 

1 / x = 1 / ✓2+ 1

= ( √2 - 1 ) / ( √2 + 1 ) ( √2 - 1 )

= ( √2 - 1 ) / 2 - 1

= ( √2 - 1 )

sᴏ , 

x + 1 / x [ • ᴘᴜᴛᴛɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴇ ᴠᴀʟᴜᴇs ᴏғ x ᴀɴᴅ 1 / x ]

= ( √2 + 1 ) + ( √2 - 1 )

= 2 √2

ɴᴏᴡ ,

x^2 + 1 / x^2

= ( x + 1 / x )^2 - 2 . x . 1 / x

= ( 2 √2 )^2 - 2

= 4 × 2 - 2

= 8 - 2

= 6

x=root 2+1
square both side
so x square is =3
now put these value in this
sooo
3+1/3=4/3
is the correct answer
