Heya ..

In 10s , a charge of 25C leaves a battery , and 200j of energy are delivered to an outside circuit as a result.

1) What is the potential difference across the battery ?

2) What current flows from the battery ?

Given,

t = 10s

Q = 25C

Work = 200J

1. Potential difference between the battery

We know,

V = W/Q

V = 200/25 = 8V

So, the potential difference between the battery is 8V.

2) Current flowing from the battery,

We know,

I = Q/t

I = 25/10 = 2.5A

So, the current flowing from the battery is 2.5A

Cheers!
