Answer:  48 square cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Since, the curved surface or lateral area of frustum,

A=\pi \times(r_1+r_2) \times s

Where, r_1 and r_2 are the radius of the bases of the frustum,

While, s be the slant height of the frustum,

Here, The circumference of the circular bases are 18 and 6 cm,

Let r_1 and r_2 be the radius of the larger base and smaller base respectively,

2\pi r_1=18

r_1 = \frac{9}{\pi}

Also,

2\pi r_2=6

r_2 = \frac{3}{\pi}

Again it is given that s = 4 cm,

Thus, the curved surface area of the given frustum,

A=\pi(\frac{9}{\pi}+\frac{3}{\pi})\times 4

=12\times 4

=48 square cm.

Hence, the curved surface area of the given frustum is 48 square cm.
