HEYA MATES ❣️❣️

QUESTION :

✔️STATE THE CHEMICAL REACTION THAT HAS TAKEN PLACE BETWEEN THE BACTERIA IN THE MOUTH AND THE TOOTHPASTE.

✔️H2+O2→ H2O...HOW THIS IS A REDOX EQUATION?

❌NO SPAM❌❌ NO COPY❌

shivanyaaggraw: H2O is a redox reaction as in its formation firstly the oxidation no. of oxygen is changing from 0 to -2 which is a reduction process while the oxidation no of hydrogen is changing from 0 to +1 which is an oxidation reaction and as both the reactions are occuring simultaneously thus we can call it a redox reaction
shivanyaaggraw: and about your 1st question I don't know about any such reaction but yes it's like toothpaste contain fluoride ions which helps in the killing of bacteria of mouth moreover it's the basic pH of toothpaste which hinder the bacterial metabolism..
shivanyaaggraw: moreover bacteria releases acid thus a kind of neutralization reaction takes place between the basic pH of toothpaste and the bacteria
Anonymous: oh thanks ❣️
shivanyaaggraw: my pleasure☺☺
