Heya Mates..!!

There are frequent questions about the various Scientific Events. These days people have an osm scientific temper.
All because we love mysteries! Right!?

Here are some questions Regarding Black Hole-

Hey fam!

A black hole is a region in space containing such strong gravitational force that nothing, literally nothing, no light, no sound, no electromagnetic waves can escape it. It keeps on getting bigger and bigger by absorbing the mass from the surrounding space.

It is known that all the matter that is anywhere near it in space gets pulled in by it.

Why Do stars end up becoming a black hole?

Honey, Black holes are formed by the collapsing of very massive stars when their life cycle comes to an end. There's no such question like why they collapse. it's just the way it is. But mysteries still remain there, like is this all true? is it only the massive stars or something else that had not been discovered yet.

Most of the black holes contain dark matter. Well, honestly speaking I don't have any idea about the 3rd question. But I am guessing that No, I don't think any black hole is not made of dark matter. It is known that Dark matter constitute 86% of matter of space. And it becomes kinda obvious that black holes contain dark matter and all of them do. Ah, Dark matter and stuff really weird.

There are many black holes that had been discovered yet and all of them contain dark matters. And idk but maybe later on after more advancement of technology new black holes will get formed which may not contain dark matter, who knows?

Cheers!

It was fun answering it.

AshStyles: Thank You for answering. But, your Answer needs to be corrected a bit. :)
AshStyles: Discovery of Two Black Holes thats DO NOT CONTAIN DARK MATTER has been made.
AshStyles: And the first one has bern confirmed to have no dark matter.
AshStyles: *been
Crystall91: yeah, i have mentioned it while answering the 3rd part that i have no information related it. i just guesses it
Crystall91: guessed*
Crystall91: Thanks for the info though
AshStyles: Welcome! :)

What is a Black Hole???

Black Hole as the name suggest is a dark void where all the physics laws hold no good. The gravitational field inside the black is so strong that not even light can escape through its clutches.

Studies show that the curve made by the black hole in space time fabric is greater than of made by our sun

Black Hole at the centre of Milky Way galaxy is Sagaturris A

Black Hole can be divided into following regions:

  • Event Horizon
  • Singularity

  • The Event Horizon is the outermost boundary of the void and none can escape it,once in contact

  • Singularity is the core, where all the matter is condensed

Why do stars end up becoming Black Holes??

Not necessarily a black hole, what they become after their fuel runs out depends upon their masses and the impact they create in a super nova (explosion after the death of a star)

Before that, the mass of our sun is termed as "solar mass"

  • Lesser than 1 Solar Mass : White Dwarf

  • Greater than Solar Mass : Neutron Star or Black Hole

Thus, always supermassive stars end up as black holes

Are black holes composed of dark matter??

I would say dark matter is the very core of black holes. It is hypothesized that most of the black holes constitute dark matter
