=> Pancreas is the second largest gland. In human body it is yellow coloured. It is present in the loop of duodenum.

Pancreas is a compound or heterocrine gland. Its exocrine part is formed of large number of lobules or acini. Each aciinus consists of a number of Glandular cells secrete pancreatic juices. Pancreatic juices are drained by pancreatic duct. Daily secretion is 1500 ml.

✔️ Pancreas is a mixed gland because it has both the reasons endcrine reason as well as exoocrine reason.Endocrine reason secretes hormone insulin and endocrine diesel secrets glucagon hormone while the outline part secrets digestive enzymes like trypsin chymotrypsin and beta amylase.

✔️ Pancreas presents beneath the stomach.

✔️ Exocrine part secrets enzymes like trypsin, chymotrypsin and beta amylase.

✔️ Endocrine region secretes hormones are insulin and glucagon.

✔️ Exocrine reason of pancreas secretes digestive enzymes like trypsin, chymotrypsin and beta amylase etc. And endocrine region secretes hormones like insulin and glucagon.

✔️ We know that both boys and pancreatic Juice enter into duodenum through a common duct.

Head is the part from where it's secretions get mixed with the undigested food of small intestine.

Pancrea is located behind the stomach in the upper left abdomen.
It is spongy and about Six to Ten Inches long in length. It is surrounded by other organs such as-------small intestine, liver and spleen.
