Step1):-After passing from point 1,electric current will be divided equally in three points ,5,4 and 2,,so it will be in parallel series

Step2):- point 5 is connected to two other points 6 and 7,,so by symmetry the current which will pass through 5 will be separated equally between these two points,

and since 6 and 7 will get equal current,it means they are in parallel by symmetry

Step3):-Similarly current from point 4 and 2 is separated equally in 6,3 and 7,3,,so they will be parallel to each other

Step4):-Join together,the common points,and now we get three points 6,7,3

Step5):-The point 6,7,3 is connected to point 8 directly and by symmetry they will be parallel

Step6):-After getting three separate parallel series,we will calculate the resultant resistance as shown in figure.....
