MP = 11150
10% discount
11150 10%
11150 1%= 11150/100 = 111.50
10%discount = 111.50 ×10 = 1115
sold at = 11150 -1115 = 10035
shopkeeper 11.5 profit
11150 11.5 profit
= 1115 ×11.5 = 12882.5
the cost price is 12882.5
10% discount
11150 10%
11150 1%= 11150/100 = 111.50
10%discount = 111.50 ×10 = 1115
sold at = 11150 -1115 = 10035
shopkeeper 11.5 profit
11150 11.5 profit
= 1115 ×11.5 = 12882.5
the cost price is 12882.5

Given, Marked price of a mixer = 11,150.
Given Discount = 10%.
⇒ Discount = 10% of 11,150
= (10/100) * 11,150
= 1115.
Selling price of the mixer = 11,150 - 1115
= 10035.
Now,
Let the cost price of the mixer be 'x'.
Given, Profit = 11.5%.
⇒ 11.5% of x
⇒ (11.5/100) * x
⇒ 0.115x
Selling price of the mixer = x + 0.115x
= 1.115x.
But selling price of the mixer = 9923.5
⇒ 1.115x = 10035
⇒ x = 9000.
Therefore, Cost price of the mixer = 9000.
Hope it helps!
