As AD is a bisector of angle A, angle BAD= angle CAD

For triangle ADC , traingle ADB is an exterior angle.

Angle ADB > Angle CAD

{exterior angle is greter than each int. opposite angle}

angle ADB> angle BAD

AB > BD ( sides opposite to greater angle is longer)
