As we know.. Velocity is not invariant of relative motion.. So kinetic energy is not invariant of relative motion.. It is a scalar quantity bcz in formula of kinetic energy we write 1/2mv² .. If velocity is negative then it will become positive bcz of squaring.. So kinetic energy is scalar quantity.. But actually it magnitude depends on vector quantity i.e., velocity.. I think that's the reason
