ANSWER

Multiple Ovulation embryo transfer technology (MOET) is a technique to a dairy farmer for increasing the yield of herd size of cattle in a short time.

In this method:

⏺️A cow is administered with FSH-like activity hormone to induce follicular maturation and super ovulation. Thus, 6-8 eggs are produced per cycle instead of one.

⏺️The animal is the mated with an elite bull or is artificially inseminated.

⏺️The fertilized eggs at 8-32 celled stage are recovered non surgically.

⏺️It is then transferred to surrogate mothers.

⏺️While the genetic mother is available to next round of super ovulation.

Thus raising a high milk yielding breeds of females and high quality meat yielding bulls in a short time.

Example: Cattle , sheep, rabbits, etc.

hope it helps ☺️
