Hey there,

Water vapour is the gaseous phase of H₂O. It is abundantly present on Earth, but today, we, Tiashasha and me are going to explore the mystery behind the presence of vapour in space.

Water constitute approximately 71% of Earth and 0.16% of Earth's atmosphere.
BUT IS WATER ALSO HAVING EXTRATERRESTRIAL EXISTENCE?

The answer is a big YES. Though water is only found on Earth till Hydrosphere, but it is present in space too.

⇒It can be produced by Hydrogen Peroxide(H₂O₂) which is present on Uranus. So it may be able to produce water if given a high temperature.

⇒Water is found in the atmosphere of Titan. Titan is the biggest satellite of Saturn. It has a stable atmosphere and hence water is believed to be present on this mere satellite kilometers away from us! DON'T GET TOO ANXIOUS, LIFE'S NOT POSSIBLE ON TITAN BECAUSE IT ONLY CONTAINS NITROGEN IN IT'S ATMOSPHERE!

⇒Cry geysers or EXT geysers are extraterrestrial geysers found in many galaxies including ours which do contain water.

⇒Kepler 22, the identical twin of Earth have almost a similar atmosphere and a landmass. It abundantly contains water, and amazingly, IT HAS LIFE TOO! But, it's too far from us that it will take years, or maybe light years to reach the small planet.

⇒HD 209458l is beleived to be made of porum only. It is believed to have water in large quantities and is hypothesized to fill water needs of earth, BUT GUESS WHAT? WE DON"T EVEN KNOW IN WHICH GALAXY IT IS!

These amazing but seemingly unsolvable presence of extraterrestrial water amuse us, but puzzle us too!

HOPE IT HELPS!!!

Answer:

It turns into water vapor, a gas. ... The water vapor will expand and dissipate if you don't confine it to a bottle or box, but it does take up spaceYes, air does have mass and does take up physical space, so, yes, air is made of matter
