Proper fraction is the one where numerator is less than the denominator
eg 2/3
Improper fraction is the one in which numerator is greater than denominator
eg 3/2
when we express an improper fraction as a whole number and a proper fraction it is a mixed fraction
eg 3/2 written in mixed fraction as 1 whole 1/2
like fractions are the one which have the same denominators
eg 7/12,11/12
unlike fraction are opposite of like fractions
eg 1/2,1/3
