Boyle's Law Formula. Boyle's Law, an ideal gas law which states that the volume of an ideal gas is inversely proportional to its absolute pressure at a constant temperature. ... In other words, the product of pressure and volume is constant for a fixed mass of ideal gas at fixed temperature

According to BOYLE'S law , the pressure and volume of a gas have an inverse relationship, when temperature is held constant. If volume increases, then pressure decreases and vice versa, when temperature is held constant.

Therefore, when the volume is halved, the pressure is doubled; and if the volume is doubled, the pressure is halved.
