1]If it is 12 noon at 60°E longitude, then explain what would be the time at 30°W longitude?

2] A football match being played at Sao Paulo, Brazil started in India at 6am IST. Explain what would be the local time at Sao Paulo?

1)Every 15 degrees in longitude you either add or take away an hour. In your case, because you are going West, you are going back 6 time zones (90 degrees of longitude). So, if it is 12 at noon at your given place, at 30 degrees West we’re talking about 6 AM.

2)If a football match being played at Sao Paulo, Brazil starts in India at 6 A.M. Indian Standard Time, the local time at Sao Paulo, Brazil will be yesterday's 9 : 30 P.M. because Sao Paulo, Brazil time is 8 hour and 30 minutes behind the Indian Standard Time. Suppose, if the time in India is 10 : 30 P.M.
