hey

cute here is your answer

Question:-the base of a right triangle is 48 cm and its hypotenuse is 50 cm long. the area of the triangle is?

_________________________________

Solution:-)

GIVEN THAT - Base of Right∆ =48

Also given- Hypotenuse of Right∆=50

_______________________________

Hypotenuse² =Base² + Height²

(50)² = (48)² + Height²

2500 - 2304 = Height²

196 = Height²

14cm = Height

48cm = Base

50cm = Height

Area of a triangle = 1/2 bh

1/2 * 48 * 14

= 336cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

hope it will help you

Answer:

Area = 336 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Right angled triangle ABC with ->

Base (BC) = 48 cm

hypotenuse (AC) = 50 cm

To Find :

Area ?

Solution :

AC^2 = AB^2 + BC^2

AB^2 = AC^2 - BC^2

= (50)^2 - (48)^2

= 2500 - 2304

= 196

AB = √196

= 14

Hence , Height (AB) = 14 cm

Now ,

Area of a right angled triangle =>

= 1/2 x ( Base x corresponding height )

= 1/2 x ( 48 x 14 )

= 672 / 2

= 336 cm^2

Therefore , the area of the triangle is 336 cm ^2.
