Given Equation is x^2 - 1.

= > x^2 - 1^2

We know that a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b)

= > (x + 1)(x - 1).

x^2 - 1\\\text{We can write 1 as }1^2\\=x^2-1^2\\\text{we know,}a^2-b^2 = (a+b)(a-b)\\=(x+1)(x-1)
