A box is in the form of cuboid of dimensions (80*30*40) cm. The base the side faces and back faces are to be covered with a coloured paper. Find the area of paper needed.

HELLO MATE HERE IS THE SOLUTION

GIVEN DIMENSIONS OF A BOX = (80×30×40)CM

WHEN WE HAVE TO FIND WHOLE SURFACE AREA WE USE 2(LB + LH + BH)

BUT HERE ONLY THREE FACES

SO AREA = {(80×30)+(30×40)+(80×40)}

= (2400 + 1200 + 3200)

= 6800CM² ans
