Hello!

Hydrocarbons burn with blue non-sooty flame because the percentage of carbon in these compounds is low which gets oxidised completely by oxygen present in the air.

the saturated hydro - carbon alkene general burn in air with the blue non- sooty flame.

⏩Reason

the percentage of carbon in the saturated hydrocarbon is completely below which get oxidised completely by the oxygen present in it.

if I were the supply of air for burning is reduced the incomplete combustion of even of saturated hydrocarbon with take place and they will burn producing a sooty flame....
