The full form of UNO is United Nations Organisation. This was formed on 24 October 1945. This was formed on the charter dropped by the major countries Britain, France, USA, USSR and China. This charter was not only for maintaining peace but also ensuring humans rights , developments and eradication of hunger all over the world. The UNO has twin policy that is to ensure peace and human development . This UNO doesn't interfere in the internal affairs of countries.
When UNO was formed there were only 51 countries membership but now there are 193 countries. The UNO further divided into different organs. They are :
》 International Court of Justice
》 World Health Organisation
》 UNICEF
》 UNESECO
》 International Labour Organisation
》 International trade organisation.
Each of these organs have specific functions like educating all the people ,ensuring health etc. The decisions of wars are taken in security Council where 5 countries are Veto powers. They are Britain is USA , USSR, France and China.
