Hydrolysis Of Xenon Flourides :-

\large{2XeF_{2}+2H_{2}O->2Xe+4HF+O_{2}}

Hydrolysis of XeF4 & XeF6 with water gives XeO3

\large{6XeF_{4}+12H_{2}O->4Xe+2XeO_{3}+24HF+3O_{2}}

\large{XeF_{6}+3H_{2}O->XeOF_{4}+2HF}

Partial Hydrolysis of XeF6 gives Oxyfluoride XeOF4 & XeO2F2

\large{XeF_{6}+H_{2}O->XeOF_{4}+2HF}

\large{XeF_{6}+2H_{2}O->XeO_{2}F_{2}+4HF}

Uses Of Inert Gases :-

✍ It is non-inflammable and light gas , so it is used in filling balloons for meteorological observations.

✍It is used in gas cooled nuclear reactor .

✍Liquid He is used as Cryogenic agent .

Ne is used in discharge tubes.

Xe & Kr are used in light tube light bulbs for special purposes.
