In sexual reproduction male and female fertilize or zygote is formed as we say that in sexual reproduction male and female or parent are involved where in asexual reproduction only one parent is required to reproduce it's one kind in sexual reproduction the half half chromosome goes to zygote where in asexual reproduction their is total number of chromosome goes to zygote in one parent

Differences between sexual and asexual reproduction.

Sexual reproduction :

• It is a type of reproduction in which the two parents , namely , male and female are involved.
• The male sexual unit known as sperm or female sexual unit termed as ova.
•Thus , the two major processes i.e., formation of gametes and fusion of gametes constitute sexual reproduction.
• It shows some variations in the offspring's.

Advantages of sexual reproduction :
• Sexual reproduction promotes variations in characters in the offspring's.
• It plays a ominent role in the origin of new species.

Asexual reproduction :

• Only one individual of an organism is involved .
• Cell divisions are either amitotic or mitotic.
• The new individuals produced are genetically identical to their parents.

Advantage of asexual reproduction is this reproduction is simple and fast.
