Assured sedd sets are possible only in plants undergoing self pollination as pea plants are self pollinated hence they produce assured seed set even in absence of pollinators.✔✔

Explanation:

➡️ Pea flowers produce assured seed sets because they mostly undergo self-pollination and do not require any external pollinating agents. The pea plant was used by Mendel for his experiments on genetics because the pea plant mostly undergoes self-pollination and thereby, in the absence of any external pollinators also it attains 100% pollination.

➡️ Since, it mostly fertilizes within itself, so, there is no possibilities of reduction in the seed sets and also the pollination occurs even before the flower opens up after maturity.
