Answer:

The acceleration of an object is the change in velocity per unit time.

There are two types of acceleration :-

  1. Uniform Acceleration
  2. Non - Uniform Acceleration

  1. Uniform Acceleration

= A body is said to be in uniform acceleration if it travels in a straight line and it s velocity increases by equal amount in equal intervel of time.

2. Non - Uniform Acceleration

= A body is said to be in non - uniform acceleration if it s velocity increases by unequal amount in equal intervel of time.

Formula of acceleration:-

a= (v - u )/t

where

a = acceleration

v = final velocity

u = initial velocity

t = time

S.I Unit of Acceleration :-

(m/s)2
