THE POONA PACT REFERS TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN M.K. GANDHI AND DR.B.R. AMBEDKAR ON 24TH SEPTEMBER AT YERWADA CENTRAL JAIL IN POONA.IT WAS SIGNED BY MADAN  MOHAN  MALVIYA, AMBEDKAR AND SOME OTHER LEADERS AS MEANS TO END THE FAST THAT GANDHI WAS UNDERTAKING AT THE JAIL.
