Hi friend☺️

1)Apical meristem tissue

is the responsible for growth and elongated of roots and steam.

2) Lignin

Lignin is a complex polymer of amino acid deposit in the cell wall of the plant cells it provide flexibility, great tensile and compressional strength.

3) Characteristic of meristematic Tissues

  • The meristematic cells are small , indifferentiated and thin- walled.
  • these are compactly arranged without intercellular space.

  • the cells divide repeatedly throughout the life of a plant adding to its size.

Xylem and pholem is the part of complex permanent tissue.

Xylem

Xylem is a vascular as well as mechanical tissue it is mainly responsible for conduction of water and minerals from roots to the top of the plant , hence also called water conducting tissues.

pholem

Pholem is the living conducting tissues It contain tubes for transport of food products from green and storage organs of the plant to the other organs .

pholem is also called the bast.along with xylem it extends all along the length of the plant body in the roots, steam branches and leaves.
