Answer:

According to Newton's second law of motion

The rate of change of momentum is directly proportional to the applied unbalanced force and it takes place in the direction of the force.

Change in momentum=mv-mv

Therfore rate of change of momentum=mv-mu/t

therefore

according to newton's secind law of motion

F is directly proportional to the rate of change of momentum

F=Kma

F=ma

  • V=final velocity
  • u=initial velocity
  • t=time taken
  • a=acceleration

According to the newton's second law

Net force applied on a body is equal to its rate of change of momentum.

m1 --------t-------> m2

u v

F directly proportional to mv-mu/t

=F directly proportional to m(v-u/t)

we know that (v-u/t)=a and (k is constant)

=F=k×m×a

=F=m×a
