Ques:-A man donates 10 aluminium buckets to an orphanage A bucket made of Aluminum is of height 20cm and has it's upper and lowest ends of Radius 36cm and 21cm respectively !! Find the cost of preparing 10 buckets if the cost of Aluminum sheet is ₹42 per 100cm^2. !!

Surface area of bucket = π(r1 + r2)l + πr12

==> l = √[h2 + (r2 - r1)2]

= √625 = 25 cm

∴ Surface area of 1 bucket = 22/7 × 1866 cm2

Surface area of 10 buckets = 22/7 × 18660 cm2

Cost of aluminium sheet = Rs. 24631.20

Find the surface area:

Surface area = π(21)² + π ( 36 + 21 ) √( 36 - 21 )² + ( 20 )²

Surface area = 5864.57 cm²

Find the cost of 1 bucket:

100 cm² = ₹ 42

1 cm² = ₹ 0.42

5864.57 cm² = 5864.57 * 0.42

15864.57 cm² = ₹ 2463.12

Find the cost of 10 buckets:

1 bucket = Rs 2463.12

10 buckets = 2463.12 x 10 = Rs 24,631.20

Answer: It costs Rs 24,631.20
