so 1/r.eq= 1/7 + 1/2 = 9/14 ⇒ R= 14/9Ω
in second part, 1/r.eq= 1/5 + 1/6 + 11/30 ⇒ R = 30/11Ω
total resistance = 14/9+30/11
= 424/99Ω
