Step by step:

Size of bacteria = 1 micron. We know that micron is a unit of length and so is the meter.  

So we need to convert the micron into meter and then we can easily know the number of bacteria present in the length of 1 meter as bacteria size is known.  

Therefore, 1 micron = 10^{-6} meter

Number of bacteria by applying the unitary method bacteria in 1 m

length = \frac{1}{10^-6}

Number of bacteria in 1 m length  10^{6} bacteria.
