Heyya✌✌
a gas is enclosed in rectangular vessel 20 × 10^ 23 molecules of the gas strike a wall of vessel normaly per second. with the velocity to 50 M/ s and rebound with the same speed in opposite direction what is the force exerted by the gas on the wall if the mass of each molecule is 5×10^-23

As 20× 10^23 molecules strike per second
and mass of each is 5× 10^ -23
So total mass strike per second is
20× 10^ 23 ×5 × 10^-23
100 gm = 100/1000 = 0.1 kg/s
As change in momentum would doubled
As force = dp/dt
So force would get doubled
= 2× 0.1 × 50= 10 N
and mass of each is 5× 10^ -23
So total mass strike per second is
20× 10^ 23 ×5 × 10^-23
100 gm = 100/1000 = 0.1 kg/s
As change in momentum would doubled
As force = dp/dt
So force would get doubled
= 2× 0.1 × 50= 10 N
