heyaa friend..here is your answer...
Bulk modulus, numerical constant that describes the elasticproperties of a solid or fluid when it is under pressure on all surfaces. The applied pressure reduces the volume of a material, which returns to its original volume when the pressure is removed. Sometimes referred to as the incompressibility, the bulk modulus is a measure of the ability of a substance to withstand changes in volume when under compression on all sides. It is equal to the quotient of the applied pressure divided by the relative deformation.
In this case, the relative deformation, commonly called strain, is the change in volume divided by the original volume. Thus, if the original volume Vo of a material is reduced by an applied pressure p to a new volume Vn, the strain may be expressed as the change in volume, Vo − Vn, divided by the original volume, or (Vo − Vn)/Vo. The bulk modulus itself, which, by definition, is the pressure divided by the strain, may be expressed mathematically as
given in the attachment.

hope it wil help u.....if any querry..ask in cmnt box..♡♡♡

QUESTION

BULK MODULUS

ANSWER

Bulk Modulus!

Here it comes…

The ratio of the change in pressure to the volume compression (fractional*) is the Bulk Modulus.

Bulk Modulus(K)= (change in pressure(dp)) / (volumetric strain)

where, Volumetric strain is the change in volume divided by original volume

so,

K = dp / (-(dV) / (V))

-dV/V=dp/K

Negative sign of dV indicates the decrease in volume with increase in pressure.

*All materials whether solids, liquids or gases are compressible. Here’s a catch! A liquid is nearly an In-compressible fluid so i have termed the volume compression as fractional :)

Hope I helped you!
