hiii dear

this answer is

Total number of bulbs = 550

No: of defective bulbs = 22

No: of bulbs that are not defective = 550 - 22 = 528

i)

Probability of a defective bulb = No: of defective bulbs / Total number of bulbs

= 22/550

= 2 / 50

= 1/25

ii)Probability of a bulb that is not defective = No: of bulbs that are not defective / Total number of bulbs

= 528 / 550

hope this answer helpful u

Answer: 1) P(def. bulb) =22/550 = 1/25

2) P(good bulb) =528/550 = 24/25

Step-by-step explanation:

1. The probability of getting defective bulbs is given by the total no. of defective bulbs divided by the total no. of all bulbs

2. The probability of getting good bulb is given by total of all bulbs minus the number of defective bulbs all divided by the total number of all bulbs
