2. A dead end means an end (normally used as an end of a road)

3. To make an as of oneself means to behave in a silly manner

4. To let the cat out of the bag is to reveal the secret out ,accidentally

5. A feather in one's cap is something (an act)which makes feel proud of

7. To turn the tables on means to change something to your favour

8. Call it a day means to stop work and go back home

9. From teen to tycoon (I'm not very sure about this) means to rise up
