Auxin belongs to the group Indole Acetic Acid... These are mainly secreted at the apical part of the growing plants(in meristematic tissues)....
These Auxins are deposited to the opposite side if the sunlight in plants and thus promotes the plant growth towards the direction of sun... and just the opposite occurs in roots... there are three types of Auxin a(auzinotriolic acid), Auxin b(auxenolonic acid), Heteroauxin(IAA)
