Answer:

12 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, Sides of a triangle are 26cm,28cm and 30cm.

Let a = 26 cm, b = 28 cm, c = 30 cm.

We know that s = (a + b + c)/2

                          = (26 + 28 + 30)/2

                          = 42 cm.

∴ Area of triangle = √s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)

                             = √42(42 - 26)(42 - 28)(42 - 30)

                             = √42 * 16 * 14 * 12

                             = √112896

                             = 336 cm².

∴ Let height of the parallelogram be 'h' cm.

We know that Area of parallelogram = base * height

                                                             = 28 * h

Now,

Given that Area of triangle and parallelogram have the same base and area

⇒ Area of triangle = Area of parallelogram

⇒ 336 = 28 * h

⇒ 336/28 = h

⇒ h = 12.

Therefore, height of the parallelogram = 12 cm.

Hope it helps!
