\huge\red{ANSWER:}

(i)

(a + b) ^{2}  = (a + b) \times (a + b)

By distributive property

 = a \times (a + b) + b \times (a + b)

 =  {a}^{2}  + ab +  {b}^{2}  + ab

 =  {a}^{2}  + 2ab +  {b}^{2}

(ii)

(a - b) ^{2}  = (a - b) \times (a - b)

By distributive property

 = a \times (a - b) - b \times (a - b)

 =  {a}^{2}  - ab - ab +  {b}^{2}

 =  {a}^{2}  - 2ab +  {b}^{2}

AND THAT'S OUR ANSWER!!!
