PYTHAGOREAN THEOREM :-

Pythagorean theorem states that the square of the length of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of squares of the lengths of other two sides of the right-angled triangle. Or, the sum of the squares of the two legs of a right triangle is equal to the square of its hypotenuse.

hypotenuse {}^{2}  = altitude {}^{2}  +  {base}^{2}

PYTHAGOREAN TRIPLET :-

The Pythagorean triplets are the integer solutions of Pythagoras theorem formula .There ascertain rules telling about Pythagorean triplet ,that are

  • Every odd number is the a side of a Pythagorean triplet.
  • The b side of a Pythagorean triplet is simply (a2 - 1) / 2.
  • The c side is b + 1.

Here, a and c are always odd; b is always even.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOTH:-

The theorem is a statement of fact about the sides of a right-angled triangle, and the triples are set of three exact values which are valid for the theorem.

HOPE IT HELPS UHH
