Hi all goooooood Evening...
Kindly ans:what should be subtracted to -500 to get -525???Mine is coming -25 but in the book it’s given something else nd my class mates are too saying it will be this...Pls tell

hello friend , Your answer is wrong. The answer will be +25 .

because we need to subtract something so

-500 -(x)=-525

x=25

Mayne you are a little confused about subtracting and addition

Let the number that is to be subtracted from -500 be x.

Now, according to the question

▶-500-x=-525

▶-x=-525+500

▶-x=-25

Cancelling the minus sign from both sides,

➡x=25
