Hi all, I have a doubt, pls help me!

A table-top is 4 m long and 2 m 25 cm wide. How many square metres of cloth is needed to cover the table-top? ​

Length = 4m

Breadth = 2.25m

Area of table = Area of cloth needed to cover the table

Area of table = 4 \times 2.25 = 9m²
