Hydra are known for their regenerative capabilities. Most of their body cells are stem cells . These cells are capable of division and differentiation into any cell type in the body.
In humans such cells are present only in the first few days of embryonic development.

Hydra basically have regeneration ability that make it immortal. It can regenerate itself from most of the injuries.
And if human get this ability than he can do is unbelievable and unthinkable. He can suffer any lethal accident with this ability. He can even regenerate his cutted down head, he can be regenerated even after his body is blasted off with a bomb.
