Isotopes are the elements having same atomic number but different mass number.

Isobars are the elements having same mass number but different atomic number.

Answer:

atoms having same number of protons but different number of nuetrons

eg- Hydrogen which have three form H1,H2,H3.All atomic number is same

but mass is 1,2,3 respectively

whereas,

Isobars are atoms of different elements having the same atomic mass but different atomic number, because their number of electrons is different, their chemical properties are different.

ex- Ge and Se both have same mass number (76),but atomic number 32 and 34 respectively.
