a) 5×10³ × 9×10(7) (Here 7 is the power of 10)

= 5 × 9 × 10³ × 10(7)

= 45 × 10 (both powers of 10 = 7+3) So it will become.

= 45 × 10( 10) here 10 is the power of 10

= 45 × 10(10)

b) 7 × 10 (5) ÷ (2 × 10² )

Next divide ( 7÷ 2 )

= 3.5 × 10(10) [10 is the power of 10]

= 3.5 × 10(10)
