in one hour or 60min the volume of water will be 3*40*2000=240000m3
so in 1 minute =240000/60=4000m3
as 1m3=1kl(kilo litre)
4000m3=4000kl

volume of water fallen = volume of canal.
hence....
volume of water fallen =l×b×h
=3×40×2000 m^3
=240000m^3

in one minute=240000/60
=4000m^3. ......hope it helps
