Hi.. Can I know the difference between weathering and erosion.. Please fast..

Dear for your brainic help the difference between erosion and weathering is erosion is the eroding of the O horizon or humus by agents such as air , water,etc. Weathering is the disinterigation of the parent rock by natural factors such as frost roots of plant,etc.

weathering is a static process . Weathering envolves disintegration and decomposition of rocks and it occurs in rocks where they exist and it is done by various agents of nature like heat cold wind frost etc .
Erosion is a transport of rock particles or soil particles from one part to another by various agents such as wind,water ,ice etc
