ssd(solid state drive)
hdd(hard disk drive)
ssd is a flash storage and has no moving parts
hdd storage is made up of magnetic tape and has mechanical parts inside
hdd are larger than ssd
sdd are smaller than hdd
hdd are much slower to read and write
ssd are faster thanhdd
