Meter per second means that an object is travelling 1 meter in 1 second.

On the other hand, when we say 1km/h we mean that the object is travelling 1km in 1 hour.

1m/s=3.6km/h

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The metre per second (American English: meter per second) is an SI derived unit of both speed (scalar) and velocity (vector quantity which specifies both magnitude and a specific direction), defined by distance in metres divided by time in seconds.

The kilometre per hour (SI symbol: km/h; abbreviations: kph, kmph, km/hr) is a unit of speed, expressing the number of kilometres travelled in one hour. Internationally, km/h is the most commonly used unit of speed on traffic signs and speedometers.
