one angle be x and other angle be y

Two complementary angles are such that two times the measure of one is equal to three times the measure of the other

2x = 3y
x = 3y/2...........(1)

complementary angles are such that sum of angles is equal to 90°

so, x + y = 90°.........(2)

substitute (1) in (2)
3y/2 + y = 90°
5y/2 = 90°
5y = 90°*2
y = 180°/5
y = 36°

so, x = 3y/2 = 3*36°/2 = 108°/2 = 54°

larger angle is x = 54°
